Ford Mustang V8 GT Coupe Premium
A leading American specialty car, released in 2005. Alongside the Chevrolet and Corvette, this is one of the most popular cars manufactured in America.
Although the design is reminiscent of the very popular early models based on the “Living Legend” campaign that Ford started at the beginning of 2000, the Mustang Premium has the latest specs under the hood. The newly developed platform chassis is fitted with a fully aluminum V6 or V8 SOHC. Although both the V6 and V8 engines are available in 5-speed automatic or 5-speed manual, the manual transmission models are unfortunately not available in the Japanese market. The GT is the premium grade model, and is fitted with a V8 SOHC engine that produces a maximum power of 304ps at 5750 rpm and maximum torque of 442.kg-m at 4500 rpm.
The “fastest in a straight line only” image, typical of old American cars has now been overshadowed by the superior handling performance that you can only get in today’s large displacement, front-engine rear-drive cars.
