Ferrari 599

This front engine, rear drive Ferrari is the successor to the 575M, and was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2006. Although it shares major components with the 612 Scaglietti, the 599 is a true 2-seater whereas the 612 is a 4-seater in a 2+2 arrangement.

The exterior, which was created by the Japanese designer Ken Okuyama, is filled with the essence of the famous 250GT series, and is a fusion of modernism and classicalism in appearance. The C pillar that has been separated from the window is not only a major highlight in terms of external appearance, but also has a spoiler-like effect that contributes to the aerodynamics of the vehicle.

The engine is a 6L V12 that was specially tuned for the Enzo. The engine output boasts horsepower in excess of 100 ps per litre at 620 ps, allowing the car to reach a top speed of 330 km/h. In addition to the original 6-speed manual gearbox, an F1 SuperFast semi-automatic transmission is also provided and further increases the speed of gear changes. This is one of the big players in the world of modern super cars that combines both elegance and performance.
