Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6)

The Corvette is a sports car that has reigned at the pinnacle of American high-performance cars for the more than 50 years since it first debuted in 1953. The latest model is the 6th generation model that was released in 2005. The name C6 refers to this 6th generation.

From among the Corvettes, the ultimate grade is the Z06. This grade name originates from the option code for the racing package of the 2nd generation Corvette. The Corvettes throughout history that have worn this label have existed as Spartan cars directly linked to racing, and have always attracted the impassioned attention of fans.

The Z06 for the C6 is no exception. Although the body is larger than a normal coupe, the vehicle has been made extremely light through the extensive use of aluminum and titanium throughout the entire body. The 7L V8 OHV engine is the most powerful in the history of the Corvette, generating 511 ps.
