Lancia Delta HF Integrate Evoluzione

Based on the Delta that was created as a Lancia family saloon, the HF Integrale Evoluzione is an advanced sports model that was developed to obtain homologation for group A.

Although the clean two-box style of the Delta sticks to the original design by Giugiaro, the silhouette and detailing have evolved wildly over the years. The looks of the base model are gradually disappearing, with countless holes fabricated in the front bumper for cooling and its fenders being enlarged several times and fitted with air outlets.

The roof end precision adjustable rear spoiler is also unique. Although the engine has not changed fundamentally from the previous 16V, the exhaust system and turbo has been refined to raise output by 10 ps to a maximum of 210 ps. Compared to the 16V, it has an additional divider wall added to the side sill of the body to increase the stiffness, and a strut tower bar is now standard equipment.

The Integrale is a model that was originally developed with aims to gain an advantage in rallying, and the Evoluzione was introduced into WRC racing from 1992, where it contributed to six consecutive manufacturer championship victories. Although the Delta stopped full rally activities in 1993, production continued thereafter with the cars from the final production run in 1995 being sold as a limited edition Dealers Collection (known in Japan as the “Collezione”). This car remains highly popular as a production sports model with the scent of the rally field.
