Dodge VIPER GTS

The Dodge Viper is a modern American muscle car that was originally released as several concept cars at the end of the 1980s, but began commercial sales due to the stunningly large response.
Initially, only the open-bodied Viper R/T10 was released, its motif being the Shelby Cobra that appeared in the late half of the 1960s. Carroll Shelby, who created the Cobra, was actually involved in the development.

The closed-body GTS debuted in 1996. The all aluminium 8L V10 engine with various specialized equipment such as the twin mufflers protruding from the rear center, was fine tuned by Lamborghini who had a cooperative relationship with Chrysler at the time, and produces 450 ps with a maximum torque of 67.7 kg-m.

The great success of the racing car bearing the name GTS-R at the 24 Hours of Le Mans is also a fresh memory.

This is a rare model of which only 13 vehicles are produced by hand each day by select professionals at the Detroit factory.
